A queer modern day Cyrano. I didn't like the main character at first, but they are later called out and the ending is cute. Predictable but a fun quick read.

LOVED this book. It was adorable and wholesome. Enjoyed the characters and the plot. Slow to start, but picked up and I couldn’t put it down.

This was cute! Maybe more of a frienship/partner-in-crime book than a full-blown romance novel, but I still enjoyed my time with it. I liked Molly and Alex as characters, and I think the authors did a pretty good job expanding the characters with their families and such (also I love love love when a book just ignores that homophobia is a thing. no of course I'm not worries that this girl I want to flirt with might be straight and will hate crime me bc homophobia does not exist in this world!). The friends part in this friends-to-lovers story is really well done, I definitely believed Molly and Alex as friends... but I didn't really believe them as lovers. To me, the romance felt like the authors forgot this was supposed to be a romance between Molly and Alex and just shoehorned it in there at the end. So as friends they killed it, but as lovers they killed me.

Oh, and one last thing, I cannot stop thinking about Molly leaving Cora at the art museum after Cora told Molly she had feelings for her, and then went after Alex. She straight up went "actually the person you know is a lie. I made it all up to get you to fall in love with me, and now that you have I regret to tell you that I actually have feelings for someone else so I am going to be leaving you at this art museum for her. Byyyyeee." All I want to know if how that very first English class after that went.

This book was an absolute joy to read and one of my favorite romances. The characters were so realistic that it almost hurt at times when they were struggling, but it had so many sweet and funny moments. The character depth for both of the main characters was amazing to see, and it was also amazing to see them work through their flaws with their relationships and personalities to eventually come to a point where they could be mature enough to realize what they needed: that each other was perfect. The romance when they first went on a date was just so romantic, I don’t even know what to say anymore. Overall, an amazing story.
