Nowhere near as good as the first 4 books in the Tracy Crosswhite series. I found this one to be boring and drug on in the middle. The ending was quite predictable too.

Boy, this one was a real page turner. I was not expecting that last twist at all. I hope there is still more in store for Tracey Crosswhite because I love her character and how she figures things out.

The book was good. Not as good as some of the others in the series, but still very good. Just like the others, I didn’t expect the twist in this one to turn out the way it did. Overall, I’d recommend it.

Loved that this one was a little different than the previous 4 but also felt different in some ways that I didn't enjoy. It felt slow and like I was reading the beginning of the story the whole time - it never really took off. Great twist at the end though and enjoyed that he brought in a more personal story from one of the other detectives. Starting the next one now!

2 1/2 stars. In his acknowledgements, Dugoni writes that he read substatial amounts of information, in books, newspapers, and magazine articles. Unfortunately for the reader, much of the narrative actually sounds like a magazine article, or wikipedia information that has been mostly copied as is. The last few chapters were very good, but for the most part, this has been my least favourite Tracy Crosswhite book.
