Always a fan of the police procedural. This installment to the Tracy Crosswhite series did not disappoint. Tracy’s cases are always interesting and comes with a twist.
Part of the Kindle Unlimited catalog.

At first I wasn’t a huge fan. I was extremely disappointment in the featured crimes. A hit and run? An overdose? How much more mundane could you get. Luckily Robert Dugoni proved me wrong. It wound up being a much better mystery than it first appeared. I really liked how it all came together.

And we are got even more more character development for our non-Tracy characters which I thought was great.

Dugoni does not disappoint with the fifth installment in his Tracy Crosswhite series! I have enjoyed reading and can't wait to pick up the next book when it comes out in the summer of 2018! (unless, of course, he'd like to provide me with ARC in exchange for an honest review!) ;)

My full review can be read here.

Book 5 of the Tracy Crosswhite series.
Tracy is assigned to investigate the hit and run murder of a young boy who was on his way home from playing basketball. As she interviews the car's owner, she questions his story. He is in the Navy, working in logistics. Meanwhile, Del is trying to help out his sister, whose teen daughter, Allie, overdosed on heroin.
These 2 story lines merge together, and try to shed light on addiction in America, and how it is destroying families.
On a personal note, Dan and Tracy are trying for a baby, and Tracy seeks treatment.
Another solid entry in the Crosswhite series.
