''Hotel Magnifique'' is a YA fantasy standalone that takes place in a fantastical hotel.

The story has some interesting parts, like the hotel, and some really dark scenes that set it apart from the basic YA romantasy books, but weren't enough in the end. The romance was eye-rollingly predictable, the magic was all over the place, and the whole story was a let down.

Still, I loved the sisterly bond.

This book made me really happy. It definitely has its flaws but I still enjoyed it. Bel has my heart, wish I could see more of them together

This was one of those books which caught my attention not only by its premise but also by the beautiful cover ! ❤️

It was slow paced in the beginning but gradually things started getting interesting, especially the last 100 pages where I couldn’t put the book down. The enchanting and frightening magic system which was also incredibly dangerous and dark along with loads of mystery gave me Harry Potter vibes and I thoroughly enjoyed that ! Also, the twists and turns at the end were amazing ! 🤩

However, I did not like the vibes of the main character, Jani. I found her character extremely messy and selfish at the beginning. This, along with the initial pacing of the book makes me deduct 1.25 points from the rating.

Overall, it was an enjoyable read. I would definitely recommend it !
