This was a good read but this series is losing it's draw for me. I felt the same with the last couple of books before this one and had high hopes with this new author and different setting that the series would take off for me again, alas, no.
This story is set in China and how a few groups of survivors are doing their best in the zombie apocalypse. It's an interesting take to see large numbers of people have to battle the undead with very limited firearms, but it's still the same old story. A small group of good people, trying to do what is right, while the bullies bully.
It was very well written but just didn't hold my attention as it should have.
