This book is great with lots of emotions. So good to read Mira and Owen's story. Owen deserves to be happy and he and Mira are great together. Also great to see Tyson and Sadie getting along so well, it is always nice to revisit some old friends. Still can't decide if I hate Lee or want her to find her perfect mate so she can be happy.

Oooooh Owen! He's such a sweetheart and Mira is so full of sass. They are a perfect match and I need more of them in my life. K.C. has hit another home run with this book!

I love this series!! Just when you think you have it sussed - it turns around and pulls the rug out from under you. There are awesome characters who drag you into their world of shifters and mates. There is passion, danger, mystery and suspense. The best ingredients in the making of a great book!

Owen,is the charismatic Alpha of the Pack, and local Veterinarian. He's finally getting over being dumped by his ex over her own issues and when he meets Mira, he is knocked on his ass - finally his mate has arrived.

Mira is reeling after catching her partner cheating on her. She's finally managed to track down her wayward sister to her little town and she arrives wanting hugs and answers - not necessarily in that order! When she gets less than a lacklustre welcome from Sadie, she storms off and when she freaks out during a storm she ends up at Owen's home.

Thrown in a jealously possessive ex girlfriends who is sabotaging Owen at every turn, the return of the Canidae and the reappearance of the family of Sadie's stalker and you have a rip raring tale.

Well written, fast paced and empathetic characters. Mira is no-ones doormat and she gives Owen a run for his money, she's certainly not making it easy on the bug guy!!! I can't wait for the next in the series!!!

I received a copy of this book for an honest review.

Mira has issues with feeling abandoned by her sister, having recently broken up with her girlfriend, and other things in her life. She finds her sister in the middle of a wolf pack, but she doesn't know it. She can't figure out why the big brute answering the door is trying to keep them apart.

Owen is the pack alpha, and knows he's met someone very interesting that's piqued his interest. She demands all kinds of things, but he knows he can't give them to her.

They get close & the sparks fly, but they are both scared of what is happening between them. The story has a HEA. I did enjoy the story, but I didn't think it was awesome.
