Where do I begin with my review, regarding this incredible fantasy book that is Origin Exposed?!?! It was a potent dose of excitement mixed with fire and suspense. I L-O-V-E-D it!!!+++ (Yes, that's right. This book gets 3 exclamation marks plus 2 thumbs up and a shiny, gold star.) I kid you not, book two was even better than book one.

In this book, we get to take a closer look at the lives and relationships of the characters who were introduced in the first book. We get to learn about the fire dragons, we get to hear about the taboo associated with mixed breed relationships, we get to see the power plays and manipulations of those who should have been looking out for the good of Stella and her friends, and so much more. What completely gut-punched me though was the rightness...umm...wrongness (???squeak) of Stella and Ewan. I cannot not believe I'm saying this, but I, the strong Stell-Ro supporter and cheerleader, really loved how Ewan came across in this book. (Well, minus the caveman rigidity when he sought answers about the mystery dragon. Still, I adored his genuine passion and heart interest in Stella.)

The unexpected twists that came with the final two conflicts in this book had me on pins and needles. I could say more (trust me, I totally could), but I won't. All I know is that at the end of the day, I am well and truly hooked on this series. Bring it!
