This is the first book I've read with Treasure hunters, or anything of the like. I gave it a try, because why not? But I don't think I'll be doing that again. Nothing wrong with Molly because her writing and stories are amazing, but I guess the genre just isn't for me. I wasn't really drawn in by the adventure aspect of the book, but I did enjoy the love story between Easton and Rain.

Mystery, treasure, and suspense

The second book in the Love on the Edge series follows a new couple, with new adventures. This book had mystery, hidden treasure, and just the right amount of suspense as well. The whole time you are wanting to know more and more. You fell for both Easton and Rain the entire time. You also get a fell for Indiana Jones in this book. I can't wait for the next book. Way to go Molly E Lee!!

This was my second book by Molly E. Lee and it was really great! Rain was a total bad-ass woman, she was so cool and so fearless. Easton was great, too, and his passion for excavating lost treasures was infectious as well. What I also liked was that both characters were in their late 20s, which is actually closer to my age than characters being in their early 20s – yes, I am THAT old. :)
Rain and Easton’s adventure to the cave in Israel was exciting and dangerous at the same time. To me the story wasn’t too predictable. Of course there were things I predicted correctly but there were also a lot of things I didn’t think of, which made the book even better.
Another thing I loved about the book was how well Molly researched the plot and the real background story. :D I was so surprised that the background story of this book was actually real; it made the book even more authentic! Well done, Molly!! :)
I didn’t know how great and sexy treasure hunting could be. I might need to watch some Indiana Jones after all, which I have never done to this day. :D

Words cannot express my love for Molly Lee and her writing. She gives you such a unique take with epic romance entwined within that it is such a page turning and keeps you guessing. I honestly found myself pulled so deep into this story like the caves Easton was hunting that I did not want out of this rabbit hole.
What I really loved about this book is that you have two amazing leads. Rain, who is from Easton's past and doesn't back down. Whether it be from her photography to going along with Easton to finally getting Easton to open up and finally opening her heart again. Easton is all kinds of swoon worthy. Tough but broken. Jaded but still in love with Rain because of his own faults. The blame he felt for as long as he did. These two together are pure magic and play so well off of each other. Their chemistry and their banter was classic. The little twists and turns Lee incorporated made the book even more enjoyable. I loved how she was his raindrop and he was her compass and together they mirror each other. It's like she purifies his soul and he keeps her going in the right direction, always coming back to that one direction of him.
Overall this book is one of my faves so far this year. So was Edge of Chaos. Lee gives such a one of a kind tale. Characters that are broken yet can be mended. Tales that are unique and one of a kind. Second chance love that is one of a kind. One thing is for sure is Molly Lee is one of those authors to watch out for. For she will be bringing us more of these amazing stories for a long time to come.

Second chance romance with your first love? Yes please! Those kinds of stories just speak to my heart and this one was no different. This book took me on an awesome adventure. There are so many emotions in this book. Molly described her characters and the setting in a way that makes it feel like you are right there with them as it's happening. It's the perfect mixture of drama, suspense, mystery, and romance.

This book was awesome!! The storyline, characters, adventure and everything else in it was perfection! I've never read a book quite like this one and for that I'm grateful. It made the experience of reading it so much better. After reading both this book and Edge of Chaos I find my life lacking adventure, lol. All of you guys should add this one to your tbr!

"Are you with me?" is going to join the list of simple declarations of love that people outside the loop of a reader won't know about.

This book gripped me and took me in, from the tragedy at the beginning of the book to the struggles the main characters had to endure to find each other and move on from a past that colored their relationship.

The author took us on a wild adventure with safaris and excavations and treasure hunting all surrounding a love story that will touch your heart.

I've enjoyed every book in this series so far (which can be read as stand alones other than book 1 and 1.5 which should be read in that order) and I'm very much looking forward to the third. If you enjoy action, drama and romance, you're going to love this book and this author!

This book kept me on the edge of my seat from the very first word. I was packed full of action, intrigue, mystery, love, steamy moments and so much fun to read.

My Thoughts
I'm going to keep this a short and spoiler free as I can, because this is one of those books that you have to experience for yourself in order to really get it. This book has such depth, emotion and heart stopping adventure, that you almost forget you are reading a romance novel. (Yes, there are some steamy scenes) It's this total immersion in the world that draws me to Molly E. Lee's books. She has this uncanny way of combining all these elements into an all engrossing story that makes you forget everything other than the story unfolding on the pages.

The first page will have you hooked, but by the end you will be in love with this world, these characters, and the hunt for treasure. I knew going in that it had an Indiana Jones vibe, and I was not disappointed. It's full of adventure, humor, a perilous journey, survival skills, and a second chance with your first love. It is a very fast-paced read that will keep you turning the pages and keep you on the edge of your seat to see what's going to happen next with Easton and Rain. I highly recommend the Love on the Edge series for anyone that's looking for a different kind romance that stands head and shoulders above the others.
