I got what I came for: a trashy smutty romance
emotional funny hopeful

I was on the fence about this book but I'm glad I stuck it out. Travis really rubbed me the wrong way at first but it was nice to see him notice what was going on with Georgie. Georgie's family really pissed me off but it set up the plot for Georgie's growth. Georgie hands-down made this book enjoyable. Although she went through growth, she was still herself at the end of the day and was always doing what she loves. I ended up liking Travis' character development in the end and his support of Georgie.

Tessa Bailey forever does it for me!! This didn’t get 5/5 because I didn’t at all understand the fake dating and because Travis’ issues felt so redundant to me I didn’t love his character traits. I did love them together and their banter and dynamic and I do think Travis is going to be/was most of the time an amazing partner to Georgie just his hang ups got old. Also I was really hoping it’d circle back and he’d get her that dog that she talked about always wanting!! There was no epilogue which I was really hoping for but I’m ready to jump into the rest of the series!

Need a sexy beach read? This book definitely fits the bill.

I gave it two stars because while it’s a great romance, I couldn’t get past the “baby girls” from Travis. While I understand it’s a term of endearment to some, it didn’t do it for me. Especially in this climate, it definitely made me feel more demeaning.

I’ve read much better beach read romance - Jasmine Guillory for sure!

never listened to/read a fake dating but it was recommended by a friend and I liked it! Honestly super cute, a little cheesy. The ending did have me literal tears, I’ll prob finish the series. It was def like a romcom type of book, it’d make a cute movie. Nice balance of plot and spice!

So I thought this book was super fun! I hated the ending. There was the opportunity for so much more, and it just wasn’t there. But overall, I laughed, I snorted, I blushed, I cheered. It was fun!
