Good gravy, I could never date a rockstar in real life—just reading about it stresses me out to the point of hives, LOL! This was a slow burn, angsty love story. There’s no cheating, but there’s definitely enough tension, misunderstandings, and insecurity to keep your nerves in a tangle. I totally fell for Slater Vaughn (*all the heart eye emoji’s*). Emmie got on my nerves a little bit, but I absolutely get where she was coming from; see first sentence of review. Definitely going to continue on to the next book in the series, because clearly I’m a masochist.
