DUDES. YODA SPEAKS IN HAIKU. AND IT IS GLORIOUS.

The Collaborators! strike again, much like the Empire. For the full review (including more Shakespearean tropes than you can shake a Wampa at), follow the link to That's What She Read.

The lament after Han is frozen in carbonite is quite possibly the best thing I've ever listened to.

I hope I'll get a chance to take part in a reading of this at some point. I'd particularly like to have a go at the Exogorth (Space Worm) as he delivers his lament. Or that of Guard 2 who explains the purpose of the building code mandating walkways along chasms in monumental buildings as a metaphor.

Oh, must also mention that Yoda speaks in haiku. It's a beautiful thing.

Los rebeldes se encuentran en el planeta gélido de Hoth. Pero no estarán escondidos por mucho tiempo, pues el Imperio los ha localizado y van por ellos.

I love the concept of this series so much! Two of my favorite things combined: Shakespeare and Star Wars. I listened to the Audio Book and it was well acted and I loved that they had all the sound effects. Dare I say that I've enjoyed William Shakespeare's Star Wars more than I enjoyed the films?

I have never enjoyed Shakespeare's stories (the movies are great). However I thoroughly enjoy listening to these Star Wars Tales.
This is a wonderful way to introduce the language of Shakespeare to young and old. Knowing the base story of Star Wars also helps.
