Wtf was this??? 

25% DNF because I was so bored I don't even care about how it ended. 

I went into the first 50 pages expecting a lot of angst and exciting buildup. 

What did I get? Nothing. What I got instead was the urge to rewrite this book entirely myself, having to resist rolling my eyes every time anyone talked, and sighing every time Kai was mentioned. 

We get it Paedyn, you want to be with him. But this forced angst of having to "pretend" whilst literally making out with eachother ten minutes later was sooo pointless. 

"let's pretend" even though everybody already knows we love eachother. "let's pretend" and not be subtle at all. "let's pretend" and not actually face the consequences. Cause where the stakes??? 

It wasn't in Kai and Paedyn having to stay away (because they wouldn't) it wasn't in the complicated politics and the arranged marriage story line (because in 170 it barely progressed). And it definitely wasn't in the side characters (because they barely showed up.) 

I'm so disappointed in this book 😔

I kinda hated this. “I’m engaged to someone else but I’ll just put my engagement ring on my right hand” 🤡 are you kidding?!?!? I was rolling my eyes at the ending, the family tree stuff was like a terrible plot. “My father wasn’t my real father” multiple times and it was confusing. 
I was really disappointed with book #3 and I wasn’t happy with any of the characters 😭 It was so long and dragged out and I’m giving it a generous 2-stars but it was probably a 1-star…:

My god. That was beautiful. I have reason to believe that the “stars” in the epilogue are Adena and Mak, which I find soooo sweet. And Blair is alive?? Damn, but atleast she got what she deserved ig. The way Pae and Kai’s kid is called kitt is SOOO cute.

But RIP Kitt, I was never sure if he was a villain or not, but he is such a complex character that it’s hard to label him as one.

The secrets unravelled for soo unexpected like my GOD.

Soo sad to say goodbye to this series, as I loved the characters, but all good things must come to an end.
