adam parrish…….. ronan lynch……. the characters of all time
adam parrish…….. ronan lynch……. the characters of all time
let me start by saying that i’m not sure whether it was the audiobook that helped me move along the book or what but the book was quite interesting as i kept the pace. it was quite fast paced and felt like the plot was moving somewhere.
blue quite an interesting one for me this book because as annoying and childish she was with her tantrums and random angry outbursts, she did quite well in the last few chapters of the book. i didn’t want her to bc she’s not my favourite character but i can’t deny that she did indeed end up saving her mother. not ronan, not adam, not gansey, but her. so that was good on her that she was useful for once.
i’m so so so happy to see more adam in this book and combine that with a few phynch chapters was heaven!! it was so cute of them to work together to find a way to avenge niall lynch. it was ironic that maggie was leading us to believe that adam does not know himself and he feels lost but we as readers know adam more well than other characters. adam had so much aura this book and i’m glad to see his abusive father case was not brushed off but we actually went through the trial. so in conclusion, this book reassured my love for adam.

I really enjoyed this! It was much more engaging than The Dream Thieves was for me. I really enjoyed the character development and mystery here, and as always Stiefvater’s prose is just magical.
I still get confused by some of the characters and plot points sometimes (hopefully The Raven King will resolve this), but the vibes and overall experience of reading these is still great.

The third book in the Raven Cycle Series is just as compelling and engaging as the first two. More focused on the desperate search and focus of the Raven Boys and their forming family, it is more of a entangled adventure on the verge of exploding from everything that is slowly coming together without release.
A little hectic by itself and more of a simple wave from one point to another, it is a good book to grapple and pin down the chaos of the second book and send it into actual plot and adventure for the last book of the series. Not the favorite of the series, but definitely holding a bit more of the drama and tension, it is a good book for the series, it not for it's own solid adventure.
