I liked this one a lot better the second time through. there's some great character interaction and relationship growth ... but the plot is starting to be an unholy mess, if not to the degree it will be in the last book.
Okay, so yeah, it's slow...
BUT EVERYTHING ELSE IS JUST SO GOOD!!
The first two books I struggled with, because slow books are just not my thing. But for some reason I really enjoyed this one a lot more.
I LOVE THEM ALL SO MUCH but I just have to say that Gansey is my most absolute favourite. I ship him and Blue so much!!!!!
But also NOAH DESERVES SO MUCH BETTER I feel like out of all the Raven Boys he is the most under-appreciated and he's just so sweet!
Adam has grown so much and he's actually just incredible.
AND RONAN WITH THE SQUASH SONG GAVE ME LIFE!!!
And Blue is so classically awesome. She just feels so real and she's a really great character!
I wasn't going to talk about all the main characters, but then whoops I did. THEY ARE TOO COMPELLING!
They all deserve it though. How does an author write AN ENTIRE CAST of cinnamon rolls? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND BUT I AM ETERNALLY GRATEFUL!

This is the best book in the series so far. A lot more happens. It moves faster. More is explained. There felt like almost too many characters at one point, but I was able to keep up.

holy shit. these books just keep getting so much better. this book was everything to me. i'm so obsessed with all of them and ahhhhh adam and ronan!!!! blue and gansey !!! literally i could not love the four of them more (and noah of course he's my angel<3). the found family was strong in this one and fuck i cried so many times.
