Plot or Character Driven: Plot
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: No

Compared to the previous books, there is so much more adventure and action that encompass the whole book. With the main plot of finding Glendower sub plots arise to make everything a bit more interesting.

New characters are introduced and Steifvater has this unique attribute in her writing that gives all of her characters so much depth and attention.
(we do, however, get less of Noah, much to my disappointment.)

BUT theres more moments of Gansey and Blue, which in all entirety is both heart-wrenching and captivating.

Furthermore, the character growth of all characters, especially the leading Characters is so profound and emotionally unstable, yet real. Before this book, Adam annoyed me, scared me, and I honestly had a least favorite and favorite Raven Boy, but now? I don't know who I adore most.

I just love the characters in the book, and with the ending coming near and death so imminent to a book, I'm not looking forward to what's next when it comes to that aspect. (Chapter 42 speaks for me especially)

In all, I can't wait to start The Raven King, but dread it all. I don't want this series to end.

Not only is it now a hunt for Glendower, but also loved ones

Unraveling mysteries to reveal more mysteries. we're getting closer to the end of the mystery but still there are unanswered questions. Who's to say where it will all meet. Not my favorite book in the series but compelling all the same. The ending has given my some mixed feelings

Everything gets extra goofy in this one but I love the characters so much that I literally do not care. I would read about them doing anything. My rating for this the first time around definitely reflected problems with the plot and the pacing but now i’m just here for the vibes. It kept me happy and entertained so it’s perfect in my eyes
