This answered all of my questions from the Mistborn trilogy and gave some closure from that bitter sweet Hero of Ages ending. This was a very satisfying read and the epilogue made me even more excited to read the Wax and Wayne series.

Firstly, if you haven't read Mistborn 1-3  then do not even consider reading this until you have - this completes the trilogy and if you haven't read the original trilogy then you won't have a clue what's going on half the time and there will be massive spoilers for the original.

This book essentially completes the events of the original Mistborn trilogy from Kelsier's perspective. I loved having  another story dedicated to Kelsier (my favourite character from the whole of Mistborn 1-6) and I felt the book developed his character more, as well as explaining some of the events and lore of Mistborn.

If you are a fan of Kelsier, or want to find more about the Cosmere, I'd highly recommend checking this out. Just please read at least Mistborn 1-3 first.

A bit rushed but I am a sucker for behind the scenes world building. Hoping he makes secret history 2 or 3 some day because I imagine
SpoilerKelsier gets up to some more nonsense in there

Maybe I shouldn't have read this yet as a lot of cosmere stuff went over my head. Will definitely be going back to re-read those parts. Ultimately this didn't really enhance anything about Mistborn itself for me.

I hadn't realized how much I needed this little novella in my life. It is so full of spoilers, I can't even talk about anything specific here, but it should be immensely satisfying to the regular Mistborn reader, and infinitely more so to the Cosmere-aware one.
