I think this is the best of the series so far! I enjoyed it very much and the fact it had a change of scenery!

My favorite book in the series so far! Vera and Lenore are chaperones on the school trip to Summers End. Summers End is a prehistoric archeological site that might explain the evolution of creature society. When the body of Professor Ridley Durham, the bighorn sheep and head of the dig site, is found at the tomb, suspicion turns on Lenore's sister, Ligeia Lee. I always wondered about Lenore's family, so meeting Ligeia and reading of Lenore and Ligeia's rather fraught relationship well satisfied my curiosity. The whodunnit wasn't difficult to figure out, but I still found this to be an enjoyable read. I did miss the residents of Shady Hollow, but it was nice to get out of Shady Hollow for this book.
