The perfect sequel to what the river knows! 

This is so good. Archeology and eyptian mythology mixed with a really sweet romance. Love it.

A solid book. I can't wait to see what else she writes. Ive enjoyed every book so far from her. This book is no exception. I love how it followed through and I didnt see how some of the twist were gonna play out.

I’m going to preface this with the fact that I hadn’t read the first book since 2023 and this book jumps right into where we left off, so for a while I was very lost on who was who and what we were doing😭 However, when I did get my bearings, I had a lot of fun😂 the chemistry with Inez and Whit was still so fantastic and I really enjoyed the found family vibe to the character relationships🙂‍↕️ (If I don’t get an Arabella and Leo story, I might riot🥸) I did feel like a couple of the plot points were a bit obvious and dragged on a bit too long, but I get reasoning behind it🤷‍♀️ I will say if I read these back to back I’ve would’ve been emotionally invested way more (even though I still was while reading this one) and this is specifically why I wait til series are complete before starting one😭

I inhaled this book! It did not disappoint in the slightest. The relationships and characters are so well written and believable that my heart went through all of the feelings right along with Inez.
