Took me longer than it should of to get through, but its been something l've wanted to read forever so l'm so glad I got too.

Its definitely a very much a product of its time but I really enjoyed it. I'm definitely going to seek out the movie now and watch...it had a child like magic to it that I just really enjoyed

We are supposed to love this book for it's charm. All I could think about was what a crappy dad Mr Craven was. Grief is no excuse to abandon your child.
