This was such a sweet book. I adored the nature descriptions and the power of thoughts that Frances Hodgson Burnett conveys through the simplistic persona of a child. It's a quick read and calming one; it makes you smile and feel rejuvenated just as if the Magic is in you as well.

Have read this book many times over the years--not for a few this time. Still holds up as one of the best books ever written.

Update: I just recently listened to this book (March) read by Helena Bonham Carter, but it turned out to be an abridged version, which was just not good enough, so I had to go back and listen to the whole unabridged version. Still one of the all-time greats! I recommend the version read by Flo Gibson highly if you are looking for audio.
