Just as magical as I remember from childhood. Every kid should read this book. Dickon was the first book crush I ever had, and to this day, I still know why. He's one of my favorite literary characters ever.

Still good, still love Dickon.

I really enjoyed revisiting this classic. The writing is so cozy, comforting and pastoral. Burnett captures the healing and transforming power of nature and caring for others and for the earth.
