This is a great memoir that left me feeling like I knew the author so much better after reading it. The tone is conversational and rather informal, which totally suits the material. She serves quite a bit of tea as well. I wish all memoirs felt as authentic and personal as this one does. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good book about a smart woman with a sense of humor about herself who never seems to stop experiencing adventures in life and learning more about life.

Love Elvira! It was fun to hear about Cassandra Peterson’s (very interesting!) life & the character she brought to life.
The audiobook (read by Cassandra) was fantastic. Highly recommend that format for this book!

I loved this book. I listened to the audiobook and loved the personal feeling it gave hearing it from Cassandra. Read it, don’t wait!

Eh, it was fine. Breezed through the last few chapters because it just didn't hold much interest. I'm very surprised by all the famous people she's had memorable encounters with, and her road to Elvira was incredible.
