One of my top 10 Terry Pratchett's, I think this one is so good and intriguing. It's a murder mystery based in a centuries old war between trolls and dwarfs. Captain Vimes isn't sure whodunnit but they're damn well going to stop doing it in his city and be brought to justice. It's got everything, social commentary, a malevolent evil and a whole lot of fancy cocktails.
