Mia Sokolov is a badass barbie.
This book was good but it left me feeling like it was missing something, as if there was a key element absent that would have made it more compelling.
Spoiler:
I don't like the repetitive mmc showing uninvited at the fmc house and introducing himself as her boyfriend, it was carbon copies of each book.

Best one out of series SO FAR
I still have high hopes for Eli Ava
Writing still bad and the unnecessary ways to describe things were more comical than deep and brooding

Extra star for the playlist and for including Bad Omens TWICE excellent choice also has introduced me to a few new songs I really like and is a great vibe with the book, including artistry, blood on your hands, skins, last cigarette (so mia coded) sunny side down, kill the sun and more

4.5⭐️
Landon King… man is an artistic god. Yet again morals were discarded.

Fuck right off, Rina Kent.

I did not like Landon King. I was never going to like Landon King. That was the plan. That was the line in the sand. But then you had to go and do that thing you always do—write a dark, morally gray, infuriating disaster of a man and pair him with a girl who slowly, messily, beautifully makes him whole. And suddenly I’m rooting for the bastard like my life depends on it.

I don’t know how you do it, Rina. I came into this book with my arms crossed and my heels dug in. And now? Now I’m emotionally ruined, slightly feral, and trying to pretend I don’t have a soft spot for this cocky, complicated King.

Honestly? God of Ruin rivals my love for God of Fury—and I did not think that was possible. You’ve written a book that’s raw, redemptive, violent, tender, and unapologetically addictive. And now I have to go lie down and reconsider all my life choices. Again.

Thanks for wrecking me. Again. You menace.

I almost wanted to skip this book. I was so set that I didn’t want to read their story. I am so glad I didn’t. Oh my god! I am in love with Landon. His inner monologues is funny! Mia is sweet. Oh and he learns sign for her. My muse.😩 literally had me giggling and kicking my feet.

Is it plagiarism if you’re plagiarizing yourself?

Unfortunately, I did enjoy this one regardless of Rina’s inability to write a male love interest who isn’t the physical embodiment of a red flag. Jeremy/Cecily will always be my favorite but Mia and Landon surpassed the others and stole my second favorite couple slot.

For now. Onto the next…
