loved the audio!
Shane & Makenzie are perfect as Mia & Landon! Makenzie gives Mia her voice & Shane totally makes Lan a bit more human;)
I’ve been waiting for Landon’s story. I mean I had to know who would be able to make him feel anything! Needless to say Mia brings out the beast (I mean the best

Holy…shit…. This was SO good. Way better than all the others, they’re literally gone out of my memory by now and all I can think of is Landon and Mia. I really enjoyed this, so much more than the others, the only other in this series that is almost as good is God of Wrath. Couple things I didn’t like was the way Landon talked of previous partners and also his focus on her virginity? That was a bit weird. Otherwise, I can’t wait for Niko and Bran, I just know they’ll take the number one spot. 4/5!
SPOILERS THROUGHOUT PROCEED ACCORDINGLY PLEASE
I loved the Sokolov sibling dynamics all three of them were completely different from each other with their personalities and their likes however they were cohesive Niko being over the top protective older brother grilling his sisters about their whereabouts and ensuring their safety in his own gruffy and grumpy way.
the sisters being each other’s best friend and looking out for each other that was like just so sweet and to see it being ruined at the end of the book was just heartbreaking and even after ruining all the dynamics of the Sokolov family there was not a proper ending for them it was just very rushed we just came to know that they are in family counselling but what are the dynamics how is Mia doing?? we know that Maya was such a huge part of her life Niko was someone she was seeing every odd day so how was everything impacting her?? none of that was told it was just dusted off and it almost felt like a hurried ending
I believed that Mia would be Landon’s match through and through and was expecting someone who would not back down and fight him head-to-head but that was only there for the first two chapters sadly whilst she was planning the whole bloodbath for the revenge.
Brandon and Mia had the sweetest friendship ever my heart literally burst at every interaction of theirs it was so pure so sweet it just felt like a warm hug I want to see more of that, and I really hope we do see more of their friendship in the next book which is Brandon’s.
a little concern I had was that in Jeremy 's book Landon was given more spotlight and it felt like in Landon’s book Brandon was given more spotlight I know the author is trying to set the stage for the next book but maybe it can be achieved by not stealing much of the spotlight from the actual protagonists.
The cutest things throughout the book were the Landon king “the narcissist” “the anarchist” “the troublemaker” being such a softie for Mia - him lighting up those candles, keeping her fed and hydrated, giving her aftercare and massages that was just so sweet and boyfriend material of him. The fact that he was so observant about her that he was able to answer every one of her questions about her likes and dislikes and the most enchanting part of it all was the rooftop date I read that scene five times and I have no problems admitting to it. It was beautifully written, and I had a marvelous time reading that scene also the parallelisms to Aiden and Elsa’s story with insistent texting and the chess games were just heartwarming and reminded me of the good ole days.
Overall, it was a good read. I was not a fan of the writing this time around, however I stayed back for the characters to whom I'm deeply attached. I’m hoping the break will help the author and we will get a much better book for Nikolai and Brandon.

4 STARS
I genuinely enjoyed Mia and Landon's story and loved that Mia was different than some of the other FMC's in this series. However, there does seem to be a similar formula for all of the couples so far in the series. Do I like this formula? Yes! Do I need to take breaks in between so I don't burn out on it, also yes!
A big fan of how Rina writes spice in all her books, and this was no exception. Also, being able to connect the previous stories through the same scenes just from different perspectives is done very well. Love it all. Some great quotes and twisty moments throughout. Overall, very enjoyable for a dark romance.
