Solide. Cohérent. Addictif.
Pas juste un prétexte au smut — une vraie histoire, un vrai enjeu, une vraie évolution.
Et surtout : une progression psychologique des persos qui rend chaque chapitre encore plus intense que le précédent.
Pourquoi 5/5 ?
Parce que c’est le genre de roman qui te fait :
- Rire (les joutes verbales sont incroyables)
- Paniquer (Landon est terrifiant mais fascinant)
- Hurler (de frustration, de désir, d’extase)
- Fondre (parce que malgré tout… il l’aime, à sa manière tordue, et c’est beau)
→ Une dark romance avec de la vraie tension, de vrais enjeux, de vrais personnages.

Usually the book has a curve around the middle of it and peaks the interest towards the end. In this case it happened the opposite.
Some things were repetitive which is kinda fine I guess. I didn't exactly like the bad person behind Mias kidnapping but i didn't expect the sisters involvement.

My last book before censored ramadan, it's 4:18 am and fajr is 4:52 SPEAK ABOUT A RUSH. and boy I have alot to say because all the Rina Kent books before triggered me. Each in their different ways, especially when my first Rina Kent book was God of malice. You won't understand the terror unless you read it because hearing about it is not enough for you to live my trauma. I find it amusing how Killian and Landon share the same mental disorder yet they're so unalike, Killian literally raped Glyndon and I don't understand why people censor it because of "her perspective" when she's obviously mentally unwell— Landon would never he worshipped Mia way before the obsession started, this woman bathed him in pig blood at his own ceremony and he was like fuck why is she so hot? That says A. LOT. about both of them. I kind of am into artists now? Yes I get influenced a bit easily buf im yearning to be a muse idc ARTISTS HIT ME UP. Landon isn't MY ideal character I mean I loved their dynamic so freaking much but my disapproval is a bit unreasonable or at least I can't reason it.
