3.5 stars!! Not my favorite, didn’t like it much but it got better last 25%
medium-paced

Landon is a little too dark for me, and I did not think I would be able to reluctantly accept him, then learned to love him, which I was able to do with the other MMCs in this series. But I am interested in the Deaf representation in this book, so I might come back to this book.

All I have to say is DON'T COUNT LAN OUT. Yes, Lan has proven to be a horrible person in the previous books and I am not saying that his nature isn't inherently violent- what I will say is that man is a sweetie pie and I love him deeply. Landon really REALLY surprised me. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to experience more of him and his hilarious behavior/speech. There really is a lot to Lan and I am so glad I got to see it. Mia is a fucking QUEEN, I absolutely adore her. She matches Landon's freak effortlessly and that is why she is so good for him. Lan causes her to get out of her comfort zone and showed her that she is more than her trauma. I LOVED this book so much and did not feel like it was a "repeat" of the other books. Mia and Landon's story has so many elements and it makes it so intriguing. I really loved this read and am honestly sad it's over. Lan is my maaaan and Mia is my girrrrl!

Thank you Rina, for humanizing this sweet boy who doesn't always come across that way<3

Minor spoilers!!!!

For this being Landon Kings book, I felt this was the tamest book so far in this series. Storyline was adorable though.

It took me a little while to get into this one because I was not ready to read Landons redemption arc after he has slowly but surely been pissing me off the lash 3 books but I finally did and I actually liked his story! More than I expected

A good read and a good plot. & now I ship Landon & Mia
