I think this is my favorite of the series. Forbidden love of a body guard and royalty who is actually a decent human being (and my favorite of the group, I think). I loved the politics in the end and the process to make everything possible. Perhaps it was the political gaming and strong female character that had me drawn more to this one.
I just didn’t want to pick it back up. I didn’t feel pulled in enough to know what happened to both MCs.

I loved this book! This was a new trope for me a bodyguard-forbidden romance and I loved every second of it! The MMC in all the twisted books is so well written and not too over the top which is sometimes the problem with these tropes! The dual POV is what makes these books because the MMC are much sweeter than they appear to be and always have a soft spot for the FMC! Another great Ana read!
Dnf. Die Story hat mich irgendwann einfach nicht mehr interessiert. Und in der Zwischenzeit könnte ich coolere Sachen als Hörbuch hören.
Like a smutty Princess Diaries. Super enjoyable.
