this was really cute and fun and not your traditional rom com novel. I loved Emma as a character, we really get to learn who she is and the growth she goes through is really well done. Justin is kind of just a Ken here, though he does have some dimension to it. the romance really took a back seat to Emma and what she’s dealing with through this book but I’m ok with that. big sucker for a cute time jump epilogue too

unfortunately the 0.25 star deduction here comes from my current emotional turmoil associated with the state of Minnesota and the men who live there
