Didn't think I'd be crying over a Dramione fanfiction turned standalone novel in 2025 but here we are.

While the world was complex and difficult to initially wrap my head around at the start, it did not hold me back from devouring this book. I appreciated that this wasn't focused so much on the war but more about the impact of war through Helena's experience as a healer and prisoner. 

While it covers complex topics SenLinYu handles it with grace and many authors and show directors should take note.

While I hate the reveal in the last paragraph, I appreciate its inclusion and cried many many tears.
