Sorely disappointed. Was this a re-write of Girl on a Train, with a bit of perspective-shifting thrown in, and a lot of slut-shaming for good measure? I despise stories that repeatedly make use of the narrative device of "If only she had not blah blah blah", and this one relied on it again and again. Sex? Cheating? Little White Lies? Yes, Ms. Driscoll, we'd all figured out what one of the many characters was so worried would be revealed by the time it actually was. Oh, and the motivation of the narrator--the only one whose story is told in first person--is exceedingly difficult to believe...which is probably why we had to be told, again and again, how guilty she felt.

Glad this was a free read-before-the-official-debut on Kindle, or I'd be feeling just as much guilt for shelling out money for it. Don't waste yours.

It ended without telling us more about what happens to the other characters discussed in the book….

Nothing special. Quite a long winded book with surprisingly rushed ending. Considering how long the author took to develop the story, I found the ending to be disappointing.

I am watching you is a story filled with twists and turns and in the end, as much as it makes sense, is hard to fathom. This is such a fast paced, amazingly written story that can very much be in our own backyards, which makes it scarier. Loved the character development and the back stories to lead to the next chapter. Definitely recommend!

I think it could have used some trigger warnings. I recommend this book to a friend and promptly told her she shouldn’t read it. Like obviously murder happens, but there is SA and mentions of suicide.

Other than that the book kinda dragged. I did really like the end. D
