Delicate Ink – Carrie Ann Ryan – Sierra is running from her dead boyfriend’s crazy parents. After a tragic motorcycle wreck kills her boyfriend and leaves her with some torso scars, she moves away to start her boutique. When she walks into Montgomery Ink for a tattoo consult, nothing could have prepared her for Austin. And it’s a good thing that Sierra and Austin hit it off like a house on fire because life is trying to take them to the floor with one curve after another. Keeping up with this enormous cast of characters is a challenge worth tackling! Happy Reading!

I really liked Austin and Sierra. I found this book really busy; it felt like this book was used as a lead-in to all the books that will follow.

This was a nice introduction to the series, but maybe there was too much in a single book. We also have a cameo from Shep and Shea from Midnight Ink that was a bit random but nice.
The family is huge, many relationships were outlined, there is material for ten other books at least!

A little over a third through the book, and the writing style wasn't really clicking for me.

Honestly, there was just too much going on. 8 siblings, plus friends, cousins, in laws, so many plots, confusing names (Montgomery Ink, Montgomery Inc, Midnight Ink, etc), just way too much. I don't know if this was a set up for future books or what, but it was overwhelming, and I prefer not feeling like I need to take notes to keep track of what's happening.
