OH MY GOD!!!!! Ashley Munoz has done it again with an amazing book!!! I could not put it down, I started it today and finished it today between calls at work. I was looking forward to Laura and Killian's story after seeing glimpses of them in the first book. I honestly think they may be my favorite couple so far in the story. This had me kicking my feet at some of the scenes like the morning scene with the glasses!! Him calling her Daisy is so cute, and the reason behind it, my husband calls me his Daisy so it was super cute to see that in this book. I loved every second of this book and I can't wait for the other 2 that will be coming out after this one, now its time for the hardest part and waiting for them to be released!!
Rating: 2.5/5 (a.k.a, I probably should've DNF, but I just listened at 2x speed instead 😅)
- Small town
- MC romance
- Hate to love
- 🌶️🌶️🌶️.5/5
- Dual POV
- Dual narration by (available on Hoopla)
I'm just going to say that this was a letdown. Where was the Killian from book one? Where were the Callie and Killian moments? I think there's a fine line between alpha and assh0le heroes... and Killian was just too mean to Laura for my liking.
She deserved better than the constant back-and-forth/push-and-pull. I also felt that the dual timeline was unnecessary and confusing because it reflected the present too similarly.
I definitely missed the emotional depth of book one. Their relationship was very surface-level, and it truly felt like all they did was hook up or fight. I didn't *feel* a strong connection at all.
Honestly, the best part was probably the ending and the glimpse at book three, which better not let me down either, or I'll be p1ssed!

I really loved this second book of the Stone Riders MC! I was so curious about Killian and Laura from the first book that I couldn't wait to get my hands on this book! What I loved about this book is how much action was it! I kept wanting to turn the page to see what was coming next for Killian and Laura.
Killian is a different MMC then Wes was and I LOVED that! We get a glimpse of his backstory and why he is the way he is. I love how he was with Laura she was able to bulldoze her way through his walls and I was hear for all of that.
Laura I absolutely loved her! She was a badass FMC who was willing to go to bat for everyone that she loved who she considered family! She was the perfect match for Killian..usually I love an opposites attract vibe but these two basically being the same was so perfect for this story! I can't wait to see glimpses of them in the next books how they work as a power couple.
Now I know Silas and Natty are not next but I seriously can not wait for their book! This tension and mystery I feel is going to be worth it!
Now off to go read about Jameson and Penelope.

Killian has been a part of club life for as long as he can remember. Even though finally becoming the prez is something he's been groomed for, there's a bit of a sting to it with the way it came about. Laura is running from her droll life in DC and once she offers her loyalty, there's nothing that could scare her off. But she wants more than just the man...
Laura has political affiliations, there are anti biker protesters on the attack, rival gangs are dealing with traitors and seeking sanctuary.... this book has a ton going on plotwise, but the way Killian was with Laura is what had me melting... by the time he pulled his head outta his ass, he was a melted puddle on the floor all for her! He had so much feeling for her, despite being a complicated man juggling his new prez duties and finally getting some! Can I just say, Killian "the Wolf" Quinn had a damn filthy mouth!

This was the second book of the series of the ‘Stone Riders MC’ which followed the story of Killian (Wolf) and Laura (Daisy).
Killian was hesitant to fall for Laura, but given the back story as to why was the main plot of this story, and I ate it up!
The chemistry and tension between them were the icing on the cake!
I love how Ashley Munoz likes to plot the back storys of other characters throughout the main stporyline not to mention you do not know when the next dangerous situation is lurking because I was not expcetong some scenes to happen when they did.
I can not wait for the next in this series!
