well I was worried if I was going to enjoy this book since the first one was just okay for me and man was I wrong to worry. this book never stopped, I felt like it was go go go the whole time, and then the cliffhanger from the epilogue???
Killian & Laura aka Daisy were just about the cutest and craziest relationship to read 😂.
Laura was the tough FMC that matched Killian’s crazy to a T. she was not afraid of anything thrown her way and she never backed down from a fight.
Killian was a closed off, sweet, troubled boy who just needed a tough bad ass lady to come into his life and show him he deserved love 😩.
the side story was again very entertaining and I can’t wait to see what’s going to come of Jefferson & Luke’s partnership along with what the hell happened with Jameson & Penelope to get to where we left off in the epilogue.

It’s my first MC romance. I had an idea of what to expect after reading and hearing other people gush (and gripe) about these books. I’m glad I finally dipped my toes in this romance sub-genre, and that I started with this book.

The romance was a bit toxic, not by a stretch, but it was in a way toxic. But I remember that’s to be expected since MC romance usually has more tendencies to make women their property, and act like sh*t while coming into terms with their emotions. I did love Laura and Killian though. Laura was so tough and loyal, and she really made me root for her to belong to this club even more.

The terms weren’t that hard to get used to, and I loved the depth these characters have, especially Killian with all his poetic and sentimental meanings.

I’m excited to read about Natty’s story! I think King’s and Penelope’s will be good too. Sadly, I don’t care much about Callie and Wes so I’ll skip that one. Now I need more MC romance books while I wait for the next installment in this series!
