I did not care for how Killian treated his best friend and Callie that he claimed was his little sister. Massive turn off for me. She should have slapped him.

Ooooh! This one was pretty angsty. I was thinking, could it be more angsty than book 1, which was second chance? Oh heck, yes!

Laura is kick butt! She moved to a new town with her best friend. She wasn't going to be put in a place by her parents. And she REALLY didn't let Killian run her over.

Killian is MC through and through. He's been in the life all of his life. It's the only life he knows. So when Laura arrives with Callie  three months earlier, she honestly throws him for a loop. He's definitely interested, but he's... very conflicted. His best friend was named MC President, and not him.

Oh y'all, the conflict between these two! Laura's not exactly 100% about where she comes from, and Killian is really living up to his name, Wolf. And Laura's someone who doesn't know the MC way of life.

But golly when the romance starts. Whew! And all the buildup for the next couples?! The MC world is complicated and harsh, and Ashley writes it well.

The Wolf & Daisy. These two are everything I needed. I was DYING to know what had happened between these two in Where We Started, and my heart was so happy to get their story!
Laura is determined to be independent and has no problem standing up when it comes to defending the people she cares about, which includes the club. I adore her ferocity, and I love how passionate she is about the people she loves.
And Killian. My sweet, possessive Killian. He feels so deeply, which makes it that much more terrifying to get close to someone. This man stole every piece of my heart. He doesn’t want to want Laura, but he can’t stand her being with anyone else. The idea of her being in danger? Oh the wolf is feral. All bets are off and I was here. for. it. This man has me in a chokehold. I might mean that figuratively, but I wouldn’t mind it literally. He’s hot and determined and I’m obsessed.
These two together are so hot. Killian & Laura fight so hard against the feelings they have hidden beneath their fiery chemistry. It’s a fight to get to their happily ever after, but they’re so worth it. The Wolf and Daisy are such a perfect match.
This book has everything I want in a motorcycle romance–the intensity, the found family, the suspense, the fierce feelings, the possessiveness, and all the spice. I don’t even know what to do with myself now.

I had this book/series marked as out of my comfort zone, I expected it to be a lot darker than it is.  I usually do not enjoy MC’s.  It ended up being just what I needed.  I finished book one earlier in the week and dove straight into this one a few days later.  Both books will be a re-read as I am still thinking about the characters.

Where We Belong picks up at the end of Where We Started. Even though both books can stand alone, I highly recommend reading them in order.

Killian and Laura are beautifully written characters; their banter stings and gets under each other's skin.  The attraction-hate war they have is addictive; their words and chemistry have you loving everything about this book.  Add in a bit of suspense, and I am in love; off to find some backlist books to read while we wait for the next in this series.

Thank you to the Author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
