Oh boy. This book tapped into things that upset me and freak me out EXTREMELY well. Maybe TOO well… I wasn’t expecting much from this one, but it took several turns I wasn’t expecting and is easily one of my favorites from King. On par with Misery.


Also this isn’t impacting the star rating at all but it is very worth mentioning that this was the first King book where I haven’t needed to bop him.
