This one makes me so sad and angry.

It's really easy to take this book in the wrong spirit. This book can either be one of the greatest books spy books you'll ever read, or one of the most boring one. To really appreciate this book one needs to imagine what it's like to be a spy. Still a good read and John le Carre never disappoints.

WOW, THIS FUCKED
on some shakespearean shit…my god…the way it all ties together…the sensation of always barreling toward tragedy…my GOD!!!!! YES!!!!!

It was so out of date and slow.

Man, Control can be a real piece of work.

I felt terrible for these poor doomed incompetents. And I wondered if I was any better. Everyone thinks they do B-grade work.

Cold War spy novel. I liked the writing style and story. Characters are flawed but interesting. This might be part of a series? I read it alone and didn't feel like I missed anything.
