Got to the stage in Dune Messiah with the mentions of "Emperor Hitler" and decided I couldn't continue with it. It was also very boring.

Finished Dune. Mid at best, with very sus politics, & honestly the book reads like FH gave up halfway through writing it. Not feeling particularly compelling to read the following books.

Ok so I liked this but it got some time for me to really get into the story. The beginning was though but in the end it was worth it. Scifi is not really my fav category which probably explains things. If its the same for you I’d give this a try ’cause you might be surprised!
