Not enough narrative to keep me engaged, NSFW which is where I do most of my reading, and Kilgore Trout is just a frustrating character. He's fine as a featured character, but as a main character I just don't root for the guy.

Tackling free will, mental illness, social dynamics, and meta fiction, Vonnegut is critical of the human race, but not quite cynical. He looks uncomfortable topics squarely in the face, and presents them to us humorously. He's utterly direct, but tender in a way, and so incredibly human.
