This wasn't a sexy book. It was miserable scene of graphic sexual assault one after the other wrapped up in decent writing. The trigger warning at the beginning doesn't even warn you of the heavy, extremely graphic pedophilic parts at the beginning WTF.
MASSIVE TRIGGER WARNINGS FOR: ptsd, csa, rape, violence, death, homophobia, cults, religion, guns, blood, detailed sex and just about everything else under the sun.
Every character felt toxic, every character was intense and I didn’t know whether I hated every second of it or loved it but it was addictively F*CKED UP.
I don’t think I recommend this because I’m lowkey embarrassed for enjoying this but.. if you don’t mind the trigger warnings and want an angsty, wlw read... here you go.
