When they were younger, Lennon, Ronan, Abel, bishop, and wells, endured camp Carter together. It was a camp for wayward teens. The all planned to escape but something went wrong and they all blame Lennon.  Over time, wells and Ronan begin to soften around her but Abel and bishop are different.

I absolutely loved this story. I went into it blind other than knowing it was an RH Bully Romance and I have to say I wasn't disappointed in the least. This was my first book to read by this arthur and it's not going to be my last one either.
Lennon and her Aunt Darby move back to Minnesota for her Aunt to rekindle her romance with the one that got away and for Lennon to reconnect with the boy's from her past only to realize they're not as friendly or warm towards her as she thought they'd be. They're going as far as to threaten her to leave, but this girl, she isn't backing down she has no idea why they're acting like this, but she's not leaving. I loved the idea that you get their past mixed in with the present in how they all met when they were younger. I read this in a couple of hours, because I couldn't stop reading it.
It had me flipping pages as I couldn't get enough of this story now I'm just sad that it's over and have to wait on Bk2 so yeh it does end on a cliffhanger, but don't let that stop you.

I have never read a Hattie Jude book before and I must say I really enjoyed it, but holy cliffhanger! I really hate starting a book that ends on a cliffhanger unless the full series is out because waiting is so hard. I was just starting to get invested in the build up of the story when it was cut off. I personally found her aunt to be too fishy and I am not buying that her dad is actually dead but that is just my theory.

The tension and longing is so obvious between the main characters and I am on pins and needles to see how everything gets resolved with Abel because I feel there is so much there to still unwrap. Solid read that I couldn't put down though.

Traitor is the first introduction to the Loxley Prep series. In it, you will meet Abel, Ronan, Wells, Bishop and Lennon. Throughout the book, and series really, we get bits and pieces of what happened in their past and how it sort of shaped them into who they are in the present. They all have one thing in common: the shitty camp they all went to.

Now when you think of a camp, you think of a fun summer one where you get to make friends and memories to last a lifetime. Yeah, this camp was not that kind of camp one freaking bit. Luckily, they all had each other until they didn't.

Lots of betrayals, secrets and mysteries to solve. A lot of which didn't add up because we were missing some puzzle pieces. The overall unknown bugged the heck out of me because I just wanted to know what went down and why no one trusted one another. Of course, it came done to the usual suspects: assumptions and miscommunication.

This eventually gave this group so much conflict - whether it was good sexual tension or not. It also doesn't help that there's just something about Lennon that makes the guys question every little thing. She's the light to their darkness and they have no idea what she has gone through since she left their lives. With their little reunion, they don't know what to do about her either.

The romance was so freaking good. Unfortunately, it also gave me a huge headache and some anxiety. Again, it was the unknown messing with my mind because I just wanted this group to get back to being on the same page.

In the end, we have so many suspects to keep track of and lots of secrets to uncover.

I absolutely loved every minute of this book. It has been quite awhile that I got hooked in a bully/friends-to-enemies-to-lovers/ childhood sweethearts kind of romance. And boy, this book pack a punch. This will have you turning those pages dying to know what will happens next and keeps you on your toes guessing what caused the fall out. I liked Lennon's sassy comebacks to the guys. While I adored the guys, how they are all intense and crazy about Lennon, I want to know more of them aside from those brief POV. As a first time reader, I liked the author's writing style, how she built up the suspense and the easy flow of present and the past that made a compelling storyline. With a cliffhanger ending, I hope that there will be more build up on the romance department in the next book.
