This is the second book in the latest series by author Kathleen Bridges. It is an entertaining and enjoyable read. The characters are diverse and a bit on the quirky side which means the cast is appealing. The mystery is well done and there were plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader engaged. My only issue was with Ryan's jealousy. For me it seemed a bit out of place.

I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy provided to me by the publisher through Netgalley.

Great cozy mystery! Fun book with the added approaching hurricane to the murder mystery, which made for some exciting moments. Looking forward to the next installment where I hope we will finally learn the whole backstory of Liz's relationship with her ex and what actually happened on the night in question....

This was a great book for a day of air travel, including a long layover. It didn’t take a lot of thought to follow. That said, it was also somewhat disjointed. Lots of references to the previous book in the series (which I’ve not read), some odd word usages, a love interest who honestly seemed very immature, and a story just kind of all over the place. I enjoyed the setting, which takes place in an area where both my children lived in recent years. So, while it was somewhat interesting, not enough for me to continue with another book in the series.

I loved the first instalment in this series and I loved this one.
It was like meeting again some old friend. I loved the plot that kept me guessing till the end and it's full of turns and twists.
I loved the new characters and reading how the relationships were developing.
A very enjoyable and fun read.
Highly recommended!
