This might actually be one of my favorite books! This book was such a page-turner and it had me on the edge of my seat the entire time! The twists in the story also weren’t boring or predictable, and every single time I thought I had it all figured out, ANOTHER plot twist came about and left me with my jaw on the floor! I’m so happy I picked this book up from Barnes & Noble, and I look forward to Wlosok’s next book :)

Felt like it was trying too hard to be A Good Girls Guide to Murder

I found the podcast and wiki how articles a little annoying. Also "Be gay, solve crime" feels homophobic

that was so fun to read….would have binged read this book if i had no self control but i’m a strong girl and stopped myself but it was soooo good. i kinda guessed early on whatever was going on but i was still surprised up until the end because some plot twists were kinda :o when you think about it. genuinely adored the way it was written….and i love queer characters who struggle so much so. it was a good first read of the year.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS:

I actually kind of enjoyed this? It did take me about 123 pages to get into it but after that I was hooked.

I enjoyed the characters and the diversity of gender, sexuality and race. I enjoyed the little things about their sexuality that kept cropping up (the bad stereotypes (in a funny way), the phone cases, the group chat name).

I did guess who had done it but I was still surprised by what went down. The added component really threw me.

The flow of the writing make for a quick and easy read. I’ll be looking at more of this authors work in the future because I did enjoy the writing.
