• I’m really struggling with connecting with YA books lately, and yet, sometimes one comes along that blows me away; this one wasn’t one of those books.
•The narration was sufficient despite my issues with the story.

3.5 stars !! at first i wasn't a huge fan , there were a lot of "gen-z references" that put me off , but in the end i really liked this book . i think the plot twist was really well-done , although i did guess the two people involved near the start LOL

even though i guessed the perps super early on , i like how the plot-twist was done . their reasons for why they did what they did were honestly really good . i could tell it was thought out super well instead of just quickly thrown together tbh !!!
i shed a few tears near the end . my heart hurts for all these innocent girls who were hurt . stella , heather , arden , iris , and lea . and delphine , too . they all deserved so much better .
especially stella and heather .
overall i really liked this book , though i'm only giving it 3 stars because there were so many "gen-z references" that it almost felt forced and i just ... could not vibe with it , i'm sorry :( i have to say that at first i was only going to give it 2 stars because i wasn't really vibing with the book at all , but the ending really changed things for me . it wasn't too bad !! i also raged a few times at what iris did , but honestly some of her actions were understandable considering heat of the moment situations and the trauma she went through !!
all in all though , i liked this book , and the 2nd half was definitely much better than the first half . and i honestly might re-read it before the end of the year !! :)

This book is fast paced a very interesting plot full of investigation and a little bit of drama. For me is one of the best YA of the year in my bookshelf. I liked Iris as a character lots. This book is difficult to put down and had a very good representation and the character developed was very good. Once you pass the slow beginning it’s a very fast book so don’t get disappointed for the slow start. Thank you very much to NetGalley for the access to this ARC

This book is just a rip off of Agggtm pretty much. Except that it was very boring in the first like maybe 2 thirds of the book. It only became somewhat exciting near the end of the book. Would not recommend. I want my time back but I can’t dnf a book for the life of me
