Very good mystery and quite emotional, recommended for people who enjoyed a good girls guide to murder.
I read this book in 36 hours, because I literally could not put it down. I can't even describe how addictive it was. I became so attached to the characters, and it was written so well. The ending left me so surprised, I never would have seen it coming. For a debut novel, this was STUNNING!! I will definitely recommend this young adult book to anyone!! I also want to add that the ending line was just so perfect. "The petals are limp, but they do not fall. And neither will we." To me, that is just so powerful and heart warming. What an amazing book!!

i honestly loved this! very GGGTM vibes and i ate it up. Definitely 5⭐️ for vibes, i flew through it and i was in a reading slump before! I really liked Iris, she was kind of hotheaded and didn’t always think things through but honestly if i was in her shoes i would probably be the same. I enjoyed the friendship between the 3 main girls too and then Lea joining too. Iris and Lea were very cute and i was routing for them the whole time.
What did make me giggle was the fact the author kept mentioning Lea had 6 fingers?? I just didn’t get it?? seemed like a very random fact to add in there.
After reading some reviews I’m doubting my rating a little bit just because i’m easily influenced phaha. The book did mention Iris having a breakdown at the school prom after Stella went missing but then it wasn’t really ever explained to us. I get why this was weird to some people but honestly I don’t like flashback chapters so I’m glad it wasn’t explained in excruciating detail. I did predict that Mr Cooper (the teacher) was the killer pretty early on, and that he was sleeping with Stella. That didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the book though.

no way the missing girl was having an affair with a teacher??? and then he killed her to cover it up????
maybe I read too many YA murder mysteries, but this was just too repetitive for me. The writing was also extremely repetitive.

The most interesting thing about this book is that there is a character who is regularly described — without ceremony or further explanation — as having two six-fingered hands.
