I had no idea the girls I’ve been had a sequel so I was so confused when I started this and Nora was in it. I thought I’d already read it but nope just a sequel that came out 4 years later

At first I was scared that it wouldn’t be as compelling as the girls I’ve been and it wasn’t bc how could it be.

But it was as close as it could be and the “Iris Mortal Enemies” ending was AMAZING… such a jaw dropping, fulfilling ending!!

The twists were amazing per usual ugh I’m gonna miss them but also no next book means they don’t have to go through another crazy life threatening event so I’ll be okay

Turbo is the bestest girl, hands down. She really stole the show this time around. Also, I need my machete named Jill cause girl came through <3

In other things, this was a book I really got into! I liked the continuation of The Girls I've Been because it allows for there to be at least some closure with other worries, particularly Raymond. I was kind of sad at the end, even though it reflected reality and the complexity of people. Wes deserves more love and I kind of wish we saw Lee more. Still loved the book overall, many great moments and an interesting, fast-paced plot. Relieved to finally get into a book again, I've missed it...
