I'm basically surprised about how much more I enjoyed this little book compared to The last unicorn. It's really short, only few pages, but it got me much more interested.
Sooz is such an amazing character! She has her own voice and I loved that it was told through her eyes. She and the book itself is very different than other fantasy books I've read but I still enjoyed it.
I still can't really connect with the author's writing style and that's why I rated these books so low - even though for me three stars means that I enjoyed it.
Overall I enjoyed this little book a lot more than The last unicorn and I'm glad that I read it.

Wonderful follow up to the Last Unicorn. I feel since it was so long ago, high school when I read the Last Unicorn, I should have re-read that 1st. Would recommend reading this. FYI - I was able to read this my checking out the book, "Fantasy the best of the year 2006" via Overdrive/Libby App through my libraries system for free. Also read the Neil Gamine book that was in this collection which was worth the read.

This was a great little story bringing back the main characters from [b:The Last Unicorn|29127|The Last Unicorn|Peter S. Beagle|http://d202m5krfqbpi5.cloudfront.net/books/1358147318s/29127.jpg|902304], but centering around a new character- Sooz. I hear tell that he's writing an actual sequel, though, also with Sooz. :-D

In dieser kleinen feinen Fortsetzung konnte ich so ziemlich allen Figuren noch mal begegnen. Am glücklichsten hat mich gemacht, was aus Molly und Schmendrick geworden ist.

This is a nice little addition to the main book of The Last Unicorn, although a bit bittersweet.
I would definitely recommend reading this after having finished the first book.
