Forced to read in English class, I did not like it. Who is so much of a pushover that you literally sound like cardboard, Juliet; that’s who.

Of course I'm rating it 5 stars.

Romeo and Juliet is the original love story, the first enemy to lovers in history.
Yes, they have known each other for two seconds and are already getting married, the enemy to lovers did not last long, but Shakespeare writes so well that I was caught by the details of the story.

I'm in love with Shakespeare now.

I remember reading this during my sophomore year of high school as a part of our "Shakespeare unit" Out of all the ones I read this one would have to be my favorite because of the ending for Romeo and Juliet. It was an alright book but I really wouldn't read it again cause we weren't allowed to read the English translation we had to read what Shakespeare originally wrote back then and it's just a big headache.
