There were moments of this book that were very clever and sweet. But much of the book was kind of silly and contrived. Not my favorite personally, but maybe worth the read for the swoony, brooding Scotsman.

This was such a nice pallet cleanser! It was cute, I love Scotland. The plot of saving the town pub is adorable and the couples relationship was very cute. It did have the third act break up which is not my favorite but over all I recommend this if you need a little lighthearted fun book.

This was really cute. Third person is very difficult for me to read and there were a lot of points with this book that I almost didn’t understand what was going on because of that. I did really like the romance though as well as the small town vibe
