I feel like I need to be reading these through my fingers because I’m so scared of all the possible bad things. But at the same time Akutami draws action in a way that is so dynamic that it’s impossible to look away. Felt my heart plummet a little with this volume though. This arc is intense.
Also we all knew they fucked up when Nanami got upset enough to lose composure. He’s ruthless when he wants to be.

Behold! The SPOILERS!
Finally, a volume filled with some of the best Shibuya moments. There is so much to love about it (Choso, primarily) and so many truly amazing moments (most of them involving Choso). And of course, the crown jewel of this volume: the fight between Yuji and Choso (mostly because Choso is in it).
Anyway, did you know that I love Choso? A surprise indeed, I know. The majority of this volume focuses on the fight between Yuji and Choso because Yuji killed Choso’s younger brothers and Choso has a big-brother complex and now needs to avenge them yada yada. This is probably the best fight in the entire manga so far (sure, there are some great fights coming but we’re not there yet). Choso’s blood manipulation technique is just chef’s kiss. And it’s not just the technique… this man is able to fight long-distance, hand-to-hand, he is strong, he is flexible… what more could one want in a man. And then the memories that never happened… I love it. There’s just something about the panic in Choso’s eyes that works.
Anyway, there is also the fight with the stupid ponytail idiot and I kinda hate it. Not the fight. I hate him as a character. Though it is satisfying when Nanamin beats him up completely, helping out Nitta and Nobara.
There is also Mei Mei but we don’t talk about Mei Mei.
Anyway, the fight with Dagon is what follows and I’m really excited for it. And for the stuff involving Yuji. Still, I’m giving this volume 5 stars. Choso gives me sweet serotonin and I cherish him in any way possible.

3 stars - I liked it
This volume continues the Shibuya Incident with Yuji and Fushiguro taking down the curtain that prevents sorcerers from entering the subway. While they have finished up the fight Nanami has found Ijhichi injured by Shigemo and the other assistant managers dead by his hand. Nanami then goes and kicks the shit out of Shigemo for what he has done and I loved it. I loved seeing calm Nanami lose his shit for once.
Itadori is confronted by Choso who is determined to kill him for the deaths of his brothers. Their battle was very interesting because of Choso’s abilities. In the end Choso gets the upper hand on Itadori but comes away with his memories being changed. This was a bit weird and it wasn’t explained why this was happening so it's just one of those random moments where I am like wtf.
Overall, this volume was enjoyable and I liked seeing Nanami lose his shit and the fight between Itadori and Choso, but I don’t really care about Mei Mei at this point and some of the inbetween stuff wasn’t as interesting.
